About Me
Hi Everyone, and thank you visiting my site! I hope you enjoy viewing my pattern designs, digital and hand painted artworks, and I’ve also included inspiration in the form of the many photographs I take on my daily dog walks.
Having graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1994, I have happily spent most of my career teaching Art, Photography, Textiles and Graphics to a gazzilion young people – from Wiltshire to Essex, and from Durham to Berkshire, and now I am excited to be setting off into the world of surface pattern design. My children are now all grown up and with more time to spend on creative endeavours, I am in the midst of building an ever expanding portfolio of pattern-based designs. I have always enjoyed working with digital media, as well as with more traditional materials, and with the advent of Photoshop, Procreate and others, armed with a MacBook, or an iPad and Apple pencil, I can disappear down a creative rabbit hole for hours.
